"I believe that giving 16 and 17-year-olds the right to vote is a positive step towards a more inclusive and fair democracy. These young people are already able to take on responsibilities like paying taxes and working, and it only makes sense that they should also have a say in the political decisions that will affect their future. Lowering the voting age sends a message that their voices and opinions matter and that they are valued members of society. And also young adults at that age already may have a stake in some aspects of the society and have a good judgment on the matter. So I believe they should be given the right to vote
